The State Duma is proposing to implement a system that will automatically detect dangerous driving.
The idea is that existing cameras will be equipped with video analytics algorithms. Neural networks will be able to recognize rude and disruptive behavior behind the wheel.
Why is this necessary?
- To improve road safety;
- To reduce dependence on the human factor;
- To respond immediately to violations.
The system will initially be tested in pilot regions. If the technology proves effective, it could be rolled out nationwide.
